How old does my child have to be to go in a jogging stroller?

I want to start running as soon as I can, how old does my infant have to be to go in a jogging stroller? I go only on paved roads and my speed is barely faster than a walk.

Actually they say 6 months of age for actual running, I had a jogging stroller that had the reverse seat that I put my daughter in. I was an avid runner before kids and wanted to keep it up after I gave birth to my daughter-I was doing 6-8 miles before I was pregnant. It was tough pushing the 30 lb stroller and I ended up just going out in the evenings alone when my husband came home plus it gave me ”me” time.

Good luck!

Twin Cribs Strollers and Car Seats?

Questions for anyone with experience with twins :-)
Is it worthwile getting a twin crib or 2 single cribs for twins? Does anyone have any suggestions of cribs out there, Strollers, and Car seats for twins?
Would love some feedback..

I wouldn’t waste the money on the twin crib. With our twins, we had two cribs…in the beginning when they were small, they shared one crib. Once they started kicking and annoying each other, we moved one into the other crib, but kept the cribs side by side so they could "chat" and look at each other. I think those twin cribs are a total waste of money…save the cash for diapers! :)

As far as strollers, it depends on what you want. We have a side by side and a tandem (front and back) stroller, and we use them for different things. The side by side one was good when they were infants…the tandem only worked once they could both sit up. If you’re out and about a lot…you may want to invest in both styles. Don’t spend a lot of money on them though…we have a Graco side by side (cost about $110) and an Evenflo tandem stroller ($135). I would purchase a tandem stroller that will allow you to hook the infant car seats into it…if you don’t get one of those, you’ll regret it.

As far as car seats, we just bought regular Graco infant carriers and regular toddler car seats….nothing special, just safe!

Good luck!

What is the best stroller to get for newborn twins?

I am looking for the best stroller to get for my twins when they arrive. Most of the double strollers that I have seen look like they would be too big for them. Any ideas and help would be greatly appriciated!

w-e you do, don’t get a graco duoglider!
it’s awful…
I recommend a twin BOB jogger, baby jogger city mini double, or a double maclaren

good luck
:)

How do I fold down a graco duoglider stroller?

I got a graco duoglider stroller used and I have folded it down a couple of times but for some reason I can not remember how I did it…does anyone know how…please help I need to put it in the trunk of my car today!
serious answers only!!!!

By duoglider I am assuming you are talking about the double stroller. If so it’s quick and simple. Our stroller doesn’t have the little side handles to fold it, instead it has a little handle on the handle. All you do is twist the handle part forward, and just like that it folds up. It’s such a time saver.

Question about the 2008 Kidz Kargo Discovera Tandem Double Stroller?

Does anyone know if a baby car set can be connected with the 2008 Kidz Kargo Discovera Tandem Double Stroller? All the kids kargo website says that the back seat suitable from birth. Does that mean that a car set will fit there? Anyone have any info about this stroller?

The website on Kidz Kargo does not mention anything about a car seat being able to placed on the stroller. The rear seat is suitable from birth (newborn) to 33 pounds because it can recline more than the front seat and it has a bit more shade. The front seat is suitable for 6 month old because they should be able to suit up with less support than the newborns and the front seat is limited on the degree it can recline.

Under Kidz Kargo Frequently Asked Questions ->

"Can this stroller hold one infant car seat in either the front or rear seat?"

The Kidz Kargo Discovera was NOT designed to hold a car seat. The back seat does recline almost flat, making it an optimal place to lay your newborn or infant.
