I have a big honkin’ Graco Quattro stroller. It is not a jogging stroller but is very big and sturdy. There is room for my legs when I run, and I plan on running only on paved paths.
I’m just wondering if, even with this big stroller, the jog would be too bumpy for my 7 month old daughter.
What does everyone think? I hate the thought of blowing another $300 bucks on yet *another* type of stroller.
I used to wonder this myself and upon researching the subject, here is the information that I found. If you are going to be jogging on a completely flat surface with no large cracks, holes or bumps, the regular stroller will work just fine. However, if you are planning on jogging on a surface that you could come in contact with bumps that would generally make your regular stroller jerk, then you need a jogging stroller. They are made to go over rougher surfaces without jolting you or your child.
