Can anyone tell me if Chicco Key Fit infant car seat would work with a graco duo glider double stroller?

I purchased a graco duo glider double stroller and still need to purchase an infant seat. I was looking to see if car seats other than graco would work with the duo glider stroller, if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks. I have the Safari Friends pattern and cannot for the life of me find the matching infant seat, so shopping around.

I Have that same car seat and on the website chiccousa.com it says which strollers are compatible to the carseat.

Double Stroller – Tandem or Sit & Stand for 2yr & Infant?

We have a 2-year old (24 mos) and a 1-month old and are starting our shopping for a double stroller. Most of our friends have a tandem stroller (front to back) of varying brands and seem happy. My wife made the comment that we only need the stroller for a year until the little one’s out of the car seat, and then it’ll be better to purchase a smaller side-by-side which is easier to maneuver.

We’d be using our double for most things we’ve used our single for in the past (shopping in the mall, going to the zoo, walks, etc).

Looking online, I saw some people liked the sit & stands for ease of use with the older one and it got me thinking how our older one already likes to walk instead of being in the stroller and I assume this want will just grow over the next year.

General Questions:

- How often do you use your double stroller? How often has your older one fell asleep in it? Would the sit & stand be comfortable enough for the older one? Is it easy to maneuver / fold / etc?

- If we went with a general tandem stroller, which would you recommend? We’re down to 3 at this point. Graco Quattro (expensive, but seems nice), Graco Duo-Glider (cheaper, but not as good quality), and the Kolcraft Countours Options (seems a bit clunky to use…we have a Graco car seat, though it says it would still work here).

Thanks!

I’ve attached a link to the stroller I have. It’s a sit and stand and I absolutely love it! We use this stroller pretty much any time we go out. We have a seventeen month old and an eight month old and although my older one can walk, it’s easier to just keep her in the stroller. We never have any problems with it. My older one is a light sleeper so she doesn’t fall asleep in it very often but she has a couple times. For a double stroller it is actually really easy to manouver and fold. I really recommend this stroller. If you don’t feel like clicking on the link, it’s a baby trend sit and stand and it’s $170. You can find it at target. Good luck with your shopping.

What is the difference between a jogging stroller and an all terrian stroller?

We are going to Colorado and are going to take many hikes. Which would be the best? The jogging strollers look like the tires are bigger and better quality. I won’t be doing jogging but lots of hiking on rough terrain. Thanks for your input.

think u sould get e all terrain stroller cos the wheels are much more solid then jogging stroller, in which mainly on rubber tyres. all terrain stroller have suspensions on either front wheels or all 4 wheels, cater for bumpy n uneven roads.

twin jogging strollers….?

ok so im trying to find a twin jogging stroller for my girls. i don’t want to spend a whole lot of money, because i don’t think ill be able to use it for more then a year or so. my 2 1/2 yr old is VERY tall for her age, most people assume she is 4. and my other daughter is 6 weeks, i don’t think i would use the stroller until she is a bit older and can ride in one with out a car seat comfortably. but im wondering is there anyone out there that can recommend one or that would work for a very tall child and not be over 250 $?

I recommend finding one at a garage sale for 20-50 bucks.

What is the best umbrella stroller that works with a car seat?

I am getting ready to have my second child and am going to have a c-section. I need a super lightweight stroller since I can’t lift anything heavy. What is the best umbrella or tri-fold style that you can use witha car seat? Oh, and it should be well priced too.

We have a Graco Mosaic stroller that will hold a Graco Snugride. There are also some more expensive Volo and McLaren strollers that fold like an umbrella stroller and still take an infant car seat.
