will a graco stroller fit different brand car seats?

I just purchased a double stroller for my toddler and newborn on the way. I need a car seat for my newborn, but the graco car seats are crazy with their prices. Does anyone know if a different brand car seat will in a graco stroller? Thank you for your time.

Ps. the stroller i bought was a Graco duoglider tandem stroller.

Just buy the graco seat you want on ebay. You can get them brand new, this years and last years models, in their boxes for like 30-60 bucks. I got my sons’s on ebay back in 06, it doesnt expire until 11, and we’re able to use it for our second baby.

Even car seat companies sell off their surpluss stock and people in turn sell them on ebay. Perfectly viable option for saving a ton of money.

I need a stroller for my twins…they are 3 years old, and the old double tandem stroller is more for babies.?

what I meant was–my old tandem stroller that I’m still using is too small for their long legs…We travel and vacation a lot, and need something that the boys legs wont hang out of—plus cup holders, etc. would it be a jogger that i need?
forgot to add…one of my boys has Down Syndrome, and runs away–so I need to have them both in the stroller for safety reasons when I’m out and about without another adult.

What would it cost to add a hand brake to a jogging stroller without one?

I was thinking of purchasing ANOTHER jogging stroller, Schwinn HOPE Single Swivel Wheel stroller, but it doesn’t have any hand brakes on the swivel wheel ones only on the fixed front wheel ones. Can anyone tell me if its possible and about how much would it cost? There is a Schwinn store in my town so give me the best answer.

The people at the schwinn store can give you the best answer for that. It will probably cost the same as they charge for replacing a hand brake on a bicycle, if it is possible for it to work with the structure of the stroller. Call the store and ask.

Which double stroller should I buy for twin two year olds?

I have the Combi double stroller and it is nice and light and easy to wash. BUT there are no cup holders or snack trays. Any ideas for a short mom with twins? Or help me find the right website to look at real mom ratings. I have shopped and not happy with things I have found at the store.

I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 13 month old – We use the Graco Duoglider :)

How old should a child be before they can stop riding in a stroller?

Just curious to know what the general consesus is on this subject. I see a lot of children who look five or six who still ride in strollers, but what age should they stop riding in stroller entirely? Parents, when did you stop allowing your kids to ride in the stroller?

My 3 year old rarely rides in a stroller. The only times would be if we were going to be walking a lot like at the zoo or Disneyland or something, otherwise he can walk. Of course he is very well behaved and would never run off or anything. His cousin who is the same age I would probably still put in a stroller because he doesn’t listen, so I guess it depends on that too, but if I had to choose an age I would say that before they turn 5 they should not ride in a stroller anymore.
