Strollers…Select, Review and Buy!
Looking to buy a double baby stroller? With the growing number of manufacturers getting into the stroller game, how can you decide which is the one for you and your little blessings? Here are the top three strollers on the market today:
The Graco DuoGlider
Perfect for parents with two infants, both seats are able to accept Graco, SnugRide or SafeSeat infant car seats in both chairs. This front-back double stroller has removable canopies over each seat and multi-position reclining. The rear seat even has the ability to fold down completely allowing larger children the opportunity to nap as well. With storage in mind for both parents and children, the front seat has a child’s tray with cup holder, while the parent storage tray has a cup holder and storage compartment for keys. In addition, an extra large storage basket offers plenty of space for packages and diaper bags. And, the one hand fold is a great feature for parents trying to load two little ones into the car quickly and easily.
Sit and Stand
This sturdy front-back double stroller is made with an infant and toddler in mind. While small children can sit in the front with or without an infant carrier, older children can stand on the rear platform, or sit down on the rear bench. The front seat offers an infant tray and is removable, while the parent tray has two cup holders. The lightweight and durable steel frame construction offers a one hand folding mechanism.
Aria Twin MT Stroller
This side-by-side double stroller is lightweight and folds easily and compactly. Once folded, it can even stand on its own. It fits through standard doorways and offers all-wheel suspension, swivel front wheels and rear wheel breaks for a smooth ride. Multi-position seats and dual snack trays make it a good choice for both children. With individual canopies and parent cup holders, this stroller is made with everyone in mind.
While the sheer number of types of double baby strollers can be overwhelming, make sure you know your families needs, your expectations and the best available options on the market today. Then, choose with confidence and enjoy the ride!

I love our babytrend deluxe double stroller. You can use it with two infant carseats, two infants, two toddlers and if one day you need it for one smaller child and one older child you can remove the second seat and make a standing/sitting platform so it becomes a sit n’ stand stroller.

I would try to search for the website of the stroller…

My son will be 2 1/2 when the new baby is born. Any suggestions on a twin stroller that accommodates a growing toddler and newborn? Is a twin stroller necessary?
I got a Joovey Caboose Ultra Light (*gotta get the Ultra light!). It is a sit-n-stand style, but the stand part is also a padded seat with a seat belt. It isn’t too expensive, folds up really flat and works with most of the bucket carseats as well.
The only thing that I don’t like about it is that the front seat for the baby doesn’t recline all the way, though I think a lot of the double strollers are simular.
Congrats!

okay. i finally gave in and decided i could deal with a tandem stroller. i really wanted to get a side by side stroller for my twins. i feel it would be so much easier and a lot better.
but then. most the ones i looked at do not have individual trays for each child or even for myself up top. i also did not want a jogging stroller with the one wheel in the front.
i want something sweet and cute and something that is nice.
i found a tandem i like. but i am confused..

can u put 2 infants in a stroller like that. ?
the only time ive seen a infant in a stroller is in a carseat on top of a stroller…!!
is it okay to put my two newborn twin babies in this stroller?
or is it that it is designed for a newborn in the back and a toddler in front?
WILL BOTH MY NEWBORNS BE SAFE?
ALSO.
if u have any suggestions or tips on buying a double stroller i would love it!
Congrats on the twins!!! I have 13 week old twins and we have stroller upon stroller!
We have the Graco Duo Glider – like what you have pictured – this will allow you to put 2 infant car carriers in the stroller. The back seat reclines to the point that you can put an infant without the carrier but I would not do it with the front seat. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do but is VERY heavy and you will need a large car / minivan / SUV to haul it around. It fits in the trunk of my car – 2007 Accord but does NOT fit in my husband’s car which is a 2002 Accord (older, smaller body style). A friend has it for her older twins and the one in the back is constantly kicking the one in the front. To do it over again – I would NOT have purchased this.

If you want to use your infant car seats – you can get a snap and go stroller which is basically a frame that you snap the car carriers into. Much cheaper, much lighter and great to use with the infant carriers. Not as bulky as the Duo Glider. We got one second hand and I love it to use with the carriers. Folds up easy and easy to get in and out of the car. The downside is when your little ones outgrow the infant carriers, you will not be able to use it anymore . . . but for the price, it is so worth it and I love mine.

Tandem stroller – we have the Zooper tandem stroller. It fits through standard doorways and is a side-by-side. It does not have a tray, but it does have a safety bar and cup holder for mommy. It reclines and comes with an infant harness. You can use it with newborns without the carriers. I like mine – works great, light weight and I can get it in and out of the car. They are usually about $400 retail but you can get them for much less on Overstock – they are just "last year’s version"

It easily fits in both of our cars and is "relatively" light weight for a double (as the minivan / SUV is not in the budget for this year).
Peg Perego makes a GREAT double side-by-side stroller but we got the Zooper as a gift from my co-workers. It has snack trays:
