tandem strollers?
My baby will be born when my other baby will be about a year and a half, what would be a good stroller? I am all about lightweight and compact, so the world of double strollers completley boggles me right now! Or what about twin strollers? What are the pros/cons?
What type of car carrier do you have? If you plan to use the double stroller as a "travel system" you will want to make sure the carrier and the stroller and compatible. My daughters are about a year apart. I got the Eddie Bauer stroller because the front seat can turn around and face backwards. I thought that would be neat for them to look at each other when they got bigger. The only problem was that thing weighed a TON!
So we ended up buying a different one. We went with the Combi side-by-side stroller. It was really nice and lightweight. The only problem with it was if you put too much stuff on the back (hanging on the handle), the stroller had a tendency to tip. It didn’t happen when the girls were in it. For me it was more when I was getting them out and their weight wasn’t there to hold it down. I have heard about them tipping with kids in it.
I have seem a lot of people with the Duo Glider from Graco. A friend of mine has twins and she loves it. Try looking at the website below. It has comparisons of strollers, including price, weights and ratings from parents.
