I am Traveling to another state with my 6 month old baby and I wanted to know if she’s too young for an umbrella stroller? It was recommended but I think she’s too little for that. Does anyone know of something as light but safer? I’m travelign alone and I don’t want to be carrying such a heavy stroller on top of my luggage and the baby it may be to much to handle???
I just bought a new light weight stroller for my 6 month old daughter. I got the Safety First Lux Zune Stroller from Babies R Us and I love it. Its still around 18lbs but compact and good quality. If you want something even lighter I know Combi makes some good light weight ones too which you can also get from Babies R Us. The one I got and the Combi’s I looked at all recline so its perfect for a baby.
I’m expecting my second child soon and I have a 17 month old son so I will be needing a duo stroller. I’d prefer a tandem(I think that’s the right term) over the side by side kind and looking for it to be no more than like $300.
If anybody can help me out with links or names of stores where I can find one and preferably personal experience on why you think it’s the best it will be greatly appreciated!
I would recommend the Sit N Stand Plus Double Stroller. It is a double stroller that can convert into a sit and stand. In a year your older toddler may not want to ride in a stroller any more so this one may last a bit longer. I believe it comes with a car seat adapter too.

I need advice from parents of twins or two young ones. I have a 1yr old with a little one on the way (due in a month). Therefore I will have a toddler and an infant. We want them to ride together, but that would mean our Eddie Bauer carseat has to fit in the duo stroller we pick. I’m pretty sure it would fit in the Eddie Bauer stoller, but I also like the Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40 (I’m hoping it would fit in that one). I’m not sure which one to pick so I need experienced opinions. Thoughts on other strollers are welcome as well. I do NOT want to spend over $300 on a stroller….just FYI.
Eddie Bauer is crap. All of their products are horrible. They are part of the Dorel Juvenile Group–Safety 1st, Cosco. They’re notorious for recalls. The stroller is bulky, squeaky, and the trays snap off every time you fold the stroller. You couldn’t pay me to put a child in one of their strollers or car seats. Get the Peg Perego–it’s awesome. They make great products. The only downside: I think it only fits their car seats.
The tandem stroller (front/back) is bulky and overall a poor design. They’re hard to maneuver and just uncomfortable. I LOVE my Maclaren stroller and their double strollers are great. But, they don’t accept car seats. Although, it’s safe to say that in the summer it’ll be too hot to put a car seat in there, anyway, and next summer, you won’t need one. So, you may want to look at one and consider using the stroller without a car seat. Plus, they fold up super small (all the others are ENORMOUS and will take over your entire trunk/garage) and are lightweight and easy to push.

I was considering the Peg-Perego GT3 which is a 3 wheel stroller. But recently was told it is not a good jogging stroller. Anyone know if it’s really terrible to jog with?
I dont know about the peg perego but i highly recommend the PHIL & TEDS Vibe its a great stroller.
