can i use an eddie bauer car seat on a graco double stroller?

I am looking to purchase a double stroller & already have an Eddie Bauer car seat from my youngest son who is about to be 11 months. I am due in a week & need to purchase the double stroller asap. Can someone please give me advice or tips.

I have no clue. But I bet if you called either eddie bauer or graco they would be able to answer the question for you. Congrats on the newest member of your family!

What is a good reliable brand for a 3 wheel jogging stroller?

I am not sure what are good brands for joggers,as long as it is reliable and has a good safety rating,my son and I are finally ready for this! I am looking for something from $100 to $300 Canadian.I bought my Peg Perego on e-bay,I was also wondering if this would also be the best place to buy a jogging stoller as well?I am not e-baby savvy at all,I had a friend order that one for me.lol :)

I’ve got a BOB revolution, and I love it.

It’ll be under 300 new if you buy it through Stroller Strides (yup, there are Canadian ones, and they’re through a Canadian supplier so you don’t even have to worry about customs). If you’re fussy about colour, getting it through stroller strides you only can get red, and it’s got their logo on it.

Why I like it:

* It folds super-flat so I can tuck it in my entryway and it’s not in the way
* Its front wheel unlocks to swivel for easy steering, or locks for jogging. NOTE – this is the only swivel-wheel stroller that is a jogging stroller. The wheel locks forward, increasing the length of the wheelbase. All others that I know of lock underneath, and become tippy when jogging.
* My one pet peeve about it has been taken care of. Mine, the baby cannot lie back to sleep. In the new ones, the backrest goes all the way back.
* It’s light!
* Big canopy to shade Baby from the sun. Also has a ‘window’ in the top so you can check on him.
* It has shocks that have two settings, making a smoother ride for Baby
* It also has inflatable tires, which make for a smooth ride for Baby (many ‘joggers’ out there have hard plastic wheels!)
* I’m tall – my Peg Perego drove me nuts, I had to stoop to use it and kept kicking the wheels. The BOB Revolution has a higher handle, and I’ve not kicked the wheels once.
* Easy to use foot-brake for when you’re stopped. It doesn’t have a hand brake, but I found those useless gimicks anyway. It does have a wrist strap.
* Front wheel, when locked, is adjustable so it keeps going in a straight line. The locked-wheel ones often get out of alignment, and drive you nuts, every five paces you have to jerk the thing back in line.

Hope that helps!

When can I start pushing my newborn in the stroller?

I want to start pushing my baby in the stroller so we can go for walks but I’m not sure how old she has to be in order for me to take her outside and push her, without having to worry about her getting sick or anything like that.
I meant she could get sick by the breeze or something. Like catch a cold.

Why would she get sick by taking her outside? Fresh air is the best thing for anybody.

Can you add winter/air filled tires to Graco Brand Strollers?

We are looking for a double stroller that has those nice bigger style wheels, NOT PLASTIC, but we can’t seem to find one. We love the graco strollers, but are wondering if anyone know’s if you can replace the plastic wheels.

You probably could, but it would most likely void the warranty.

The Graco Quattro Tour deluxe has big sturdy tires. It navigates through rough outdoor terrain and turns corners well. The plastic tires are great because they cannot be popped like a traditional rubber tire.

What should I look for when buying a jogging stroller? Which model is best?

We love to run. We have a 7-month old, but want the stroller to last till she’s 5 or so. I don’t want to spend like $400 … amazon.com has bargains, I see.

Ideally, a jog stroller should have these features:
- locking and un-locking front wheel;
- hand brake
- full recline seat
- good sun cover
- some suspension (?)
- easy to fold and store in the car
- not too heavy; my wife’s 115 pounds
- comfortable seat and good harness

Do all these features make sense? Can you recommend a great buy? Thanks so much!!

First you have to ask if you are only using this for jogging. If so, a non-swivel wheel is fine. If you want to use it for walking as well, a swivel with a locking feature is great.
Features for a fixed or non-fixed jogging stroller need to be:
Reclining seat
Ample room for kids legs (baby trend does not provide this)
Sun cover (however a kiddopotamus shade that attaches can solve this)
Suspension will also come from the tires.
A hand brake is not super important unless you plan to run marathons.

The problems with joggers:
None of them fold well and fit into a lower budget.
Most joggers will weigh about 25-30lbs
You wont find a super comfy seat. Jeep just came out with a new Liberty that is the softest I have found yet. It isnt online yet, but is in most stores. It is black, gray and bright green.

Actually the Jeep Liberty, priced at $140-150, is a good choice. It will give you most of the features you want, at a good price, and is made to last until your baby is older and maybe still be passed on.
